Yesterday we visited Sainsbury’s HQ to celebrate this year’s Sainsbury’s Children’s Book Awards. Though Dave Pigeon didn’t win, I was thrilled beyond belief that Dave Pigeon had been shortlisted amongst twelve other incredible books. AHHH! It’s Super Saturday here at Dave Pigeon HQ because our feathery heroes Dave and Skipper have made it on to the pigeontastic North Somerset Teachers’ Book Award shortlist in the Read Aloud category. I’m both shocked and delighted in equal measures. What a week for Dave Pigeon!
