On the eve of Dave Pigeon (Nuggets!) officially hitting the bookshelves, I’m over-the-moon delighted to reveal that Dave Pigeon has been shortlisted for the Leicester Libraries Our Best Book Award. It is an incredible list to be part of and I’m absolutely honoured to see Dave Pigeon in the mix.
Yesterday afternoon, despite insisting we would not be able to have a book launch for our new book ‘Dave Pigeon (Nuggets!)‘ due to deadlines and work commitments, our crafts event was hijacked and our ‘not-a-launch’ became a wonderful afternoon of crafts and well, major book launching!
Here are some photos from our amazing afternoon at The Alligator’s Mouth bookshop. Thank you so much to all of you who came along to the event and the brilliant children who created their very own incredible International Police Legion of Pigeons (I.P.L.O.P.) badges. It was so lovely to see so many of you and celebrate all things Dave Pigeon.

International Book Giving Day is back again this year and I’m wrapping books to gift. The 14th of February is the day to share the book love and help get as many books into the hands of children as possible.

Here at Dave Pigeon HQ we love visiting schools and bringing some Dave Pigeon chaos to classrooms everywhere. We also love hearing how teachers, librarians and educators use the Dave Pigeon books in the classroom themselves.

Just twenty more sleeps until Dave Pigeon (Nuggets!) hits the shelves and advanced copies of Dave Pigeon (Nuggets!) are flying around to bloggers this month. Whilst we wait for the reviews to come and I chew my nails down to bloodied stumps, I thought I’d let the husband and the son have an exclusive read of the book.
